Hospitalization

 Should the need arise for your pet to be hospitalized for surgical or medical reasons, the Animal Hospital of Woodstock offers all levels of support, including intensive care, oxygen therapy, isolation, ECG monitoring and general care.  Our trained staff will be monitoring and evaluating your pets condition with the goal of re-uniting them with your family as soon as possible.

We encourage visiting your pets during their stay in the hospital.  It is important to their overall health and recovery.  Visiting times can be arranged during most of our office hours

No pet should have food or water after 10:00 pm the night before surgery. All pets must be up to date on annual vaccinations in order to protect them against preventable infectious diseases.  Our recovery area is uniquely designed so that all patients can be observed from our treatment area. Nursing care is a high priority and qualified personnel are available to ensure comfort. When you leave your pets with us you can be sure they are cared for properly.
