Surgery is performed under similar aseptic conditions that exist in a human hospital. Modern anesthetic equipment and close patient monitoring ensure the safest and most comfortable anesthesia possible for our patients.  Most types of surgery are performed on an outpatient basis.  Your pet arrives at the hospital between 8 and 8:30 a.m. on the day of surgery and will be available for pick up between 4 and 6 p.m. on the same day.  If surgery requires hospital care overnight, that will be discussed at the time of admission.  Pets may be dropped off the night prior to the surgery at no additional charge.
