Dr. Lindsay grew up in Naperville, IL. She decided that she wanted to be a veterinarian in third grade, when her uncle (also a veterinarian) invited her family to visit the University of Illinois Veterinary School Open House. Touring the vet school, she envisioned working with animals as a career and never changed her mind! Her passion for animals began as a little girl, playing with stuffed animals and begging her parents for a variety of pets. In high school and college, Dr. Lindsay was fortunate to go on numerous mission trips with her church, where she learned of her deep love for helping people in need. Veterinary medicine is the perfect way for Dr. Lindsay to combine her passion for helping both people and animals.
Dr. Lindsay attended Yale University for her undergraduate studies and the University of Illinois for her doctorate in veterinary medicine. At Yale, she majored in biology and was a varsity athlete competing on the Yale gymnastics team. After graduating with high honors from veterinary school, she practiced one year in Downers Grove, IL before joining the Animal Hospital of Woodstock. Her areas of special interest include oncology, internal medicine, and surgery.
When Dr. Lindsay isn’t working, she enjoys working out, traveling to visit family and friends, and spending time with her pets. She has a collie dog, Berkeley, a ragdoll cat, Miel, and a beta fish, Petey.
