Dr. Spencer White grew up in the small farming community of Taylorville, IL. Helping out on his grandparents' farm, he was instilled with the importance of taking care of animals and the significance of the relationship we share with them. His grandparents' early lessons influenced and encouraged him to seek out a career in veterinary medicine.
He attended the University of Illinois for both undergraduate and veterinary school. During this time at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Spencer served as the class representative for the class of 2014 and president of Omega Tau Sigma, the professional veterinary fraternity focusing on philanthropic efforts throughout the Champaign-Urbana community. He graduated in May of 2014.
Dr. Spencer is very excited to be part of such a wonderful team! His special interest is reproduction.
During his free time, Dr. Spencer pursues a very wide range of interests. Camping, hiking, fishing, ice fishing, Frisbee golf and most outdoor activities are a the top of his list. When not engaged in these outside activities, he enjoys reading, writing, acting, watching movies and spending time with his close friends and family. Most of all, Dr. Spencer enjoys spending his time with his dog Freckles.
