Dr. Emma Kamps (she, her) is a 2020 graduate from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and is excited to join the team at AHOW! Dr. Emma is a Woodstock native (WHS Class of 2012) and she completed her undergraduate degree at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio where she was involved in vocal music and improv comedy. Dr. Emma spent her first year out in general practice in Southern Wisconsin. Dr. Emma’s professional interests include soft tissue surgery and ultrasound, and she is heavily involved in our reproductive department with a robust record of successful TCI's across multiple species. Dr. Emma breeds and shows dairy goats and does see select farm animal patients! Outside of work you can find Dr. Emma hiking with her hound dog, Little, or curled up reading a good book with her one-eyed cat Olive.
