Dr. Steph was born and raised in Illinois. She attended Carroll University in Wisconsin for undergrad and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for veterinary school. While attending veterinary school, Dr. Steph also completed her Master's in Public Health at the University of Illinois Chicago. Dr. Steph uses both her degrees to serve the Woodstock community but also globally as she volunteers with Christian Veterinary Missions Fellowship. This allows her to travel, learn about new cultures and help empower others by caring for their animals.
Dr. Steph has traveled to Haiti, India and Indonesia teaching classes on caring for livestock and performing spay, neuter and deworming clinics in rural areas where there are no veterinarians. In her free time, Dr. Steph enjoys spending time with her husband renovating their home and attending family game nights. She also is an avid reader, loves watching movies and tending to her family's ever growing zoo.
